Which bread do you prefer?
The dietican explained the breads were quite crumbly and were better suited to toast and to use part baked for things like sandwiches/rolls but this isn't going to be too convenient when I need to prepare my sons lunch for school.
What can you all recommend?

Hi, Dove's Farm have a bread making flour either oven or bread maker. The recipes are on the back of the packet. I make mine in a bread maker following the instructions I can have chip sandwiches etc, I find it convenient for my needs and is easy to slice, havn't tried toasting it yet. I am not to keen on the packet breads they do turn to powder and are small slices. The pasta is to be honest better than the norm as it is not so stodgy or to filling, I was only diagnosed in June and find it interesting to see what you can eat and make. I do intend to make the christmas cake this year so it is also very challenging. Good luck with your GP, you can change your prescription items as you find what your son likes and dislikes and there is lots to choose from depending on your PCT allowances.

My son age 6 prefers the DS White Sliced Loaf to anything else he has tried.  A couple of times we had the Glutafin Select Fresh Bread as samples but he didn't like the taste.

I only use the Doves Farm flour to make my bread with and use it for toast and sandwiches. It's not as flexible as wheat bread but tasty all the same although I found that I only need one sandwich for lunch and not two anymore!

Hope this helps
